What months can you actually put a new roof on in Elko?
Shingle work goes best from about late May into September, when the sun is warm enough for the seal strips to bond on their own. We install outside that window when a house needs it, but then every course gets hand-sealed with asphalt cement and that appears on the contract. Can you just go over my existing shingles instead of tearing off?
